A tasty way to serve savoy cabbage…
- Savoy Cabbage
- Lemon juice
- Garlic, crushed
- Olive Oil
Discard the tougher, outer leaves of the cabbage. Remove as many leaves as you want to use and soak the cabbage in salty water for one hour to remove some of the bitterness. Rinse well. Slice thinly. Thinly slice the mint and add to the cabbage. Mix lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt and stir well. Add the olive oil. Mix the cabbage and mint in to the dressing, coating well. Serve as a side salad to any dish.
