  • 1 free-range chicken
  • 4 packs chicken noodle soup sachets
  • 1 bunch celery, sliced
  • 1 chicken or vege stock cube
  • boiling water
  • vermicelli noodles
  • Salt and pepper


Place the chicken in an extra-large pot and boil in water for about half an hour, until the chicken is cooked. Leave the broth in the pot and extract the chicken onto a chopping board. Add the celery, soup sachets and stock to the pot and simmer. Cut the meat off the chicken and add back to the pot along with the noodles. Simmer again for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
