My favourite addition to pizzas…


  • Jalapeno peppers
  • white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water for every cup of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt for every cup of vinegar

Slice peppers into rings and pack tightly into clean, hot jars. I immerse the jars in boiling water before adding the peppers to steralise them.

Combine vinegar, salt and water in a small saucepan until simmering. Do not boil! Pour hot vinegar mixture over peppers, leaving 1-2 cm at top of jar. Seal the jar.

Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
