This tasty and easy to create Scottish dessert is a good option for dinner parties.


  • 1 punnet raspberries
  • 400ml double cream
  • 2 tablespoons scotch whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons rolled oats


Toast the oats in a frying pan on a low heat until browned. Whip the cream with the whiskey until just starting to become firm, then stir in the toasted oats. Crush half the berries. Layer the mixture into 4 ramekin dishes starting with the cream, then the crushed berries, then further cream and lastly place the remaining berries on top. ChillĀ in the fridge until ready to serve.
