A tasty way to serve chicken and chips (with chicken salt :))

  • chicken breasts
  • garlic cloves
  • egg
  • milk
  • flour
  • breadcrumbs
  • chilli powder
  • paprika
  • piri piri seasoning / chilli flakes
  • salt
  • Oil spray (or oil or butter)
  • chicken salt (get this from an Australia shop if outside of Oz or NZ)

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Beat the egg with a little milk. Take a small plastic freezer bag and add 1/2 a cup of flour and a 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs for each chicken breast. Add in the other spices and shake together. Rub salt and 1 crushed garlic into each chicken breast. Dip the chicken into the egg on both sides, then place in the bag of flour and shake until coated. You can try coating them twice if you want more crunch. Spray a tray with oil spray and also the chicken. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until golden. Serve with oven chips and optionally a bean salad.
